According to WHO, which stands for the World Health Organization,
life skills are specifically defined as "the capacities for adaptive and
good conduct that enable the person to deal effectively with the demands and
obstacles of everyday life." Here 'adaptive' means that a person is
flexible in approach and is able to adjust in different circumstances and
'positive behaviour' implies that a person is forward looking nature.

Coping
with emotions: Coping with emotions involves recognizing emotions
within us and others, being aware of how emotions influence behavior and

stress in our lives, recognizing how this affects us, and acting in ways
that help us control our stress.

Empathy:
Empathy is the ability to be sensitive to another person’s solution,
as in the case of disease sufferers, or people with mental illnesses, who

Higher-order thinking skills, often known as (HOTS), are the final three
components, which include analysing, evaluating, and creating.
Because HOTS is seen to better prepare students for the demands of both
advanced academic life and daily adult professional life, it is highly valued.
High level of higher order thinking skills are necessary to be
successful in life.
